The Dodge 2024 Durango combines confident driving dynamics and best-in-class towing capacity with a gamut of safety features.

Lineup offers several engine options and six models. The SXT, GT, R/T, Citadel, SRT 392 and SRT Hellcat.

For 2024, the Citadel trim joins the R/T in offering the "Tow N Go" maximum towing capacity of 8,700 pounds. The midsize SUV also adds new exterior styling inspired by SRT models.

Under the Hood

Standard on the Durango Citadel, GT and SXT is a 3.6-liter V6 engine with 295 hp and 260 Ib-ft of torque.

The R/T has a 5.7-liter V8 engine that generates 360 hp and 390 torque power. SRT delivers 475 hp and 470 Ib-ft of torque through a 392 cubic inch V8 engine.

Equipped on the 2024 SRT Hellcat is a supercharged 6.2-liter V8 that churns out 710 hp and 645 torque output.

An eight-speed automatic transmission optimizes shift points and transfers maximum torque to four wheels. Drivers seeking a more engaging driving experience can use steering wheel paddle shifters for manual transmission.

Comfort and Convenience

The 2024 Durango SUV provides three rows for six or seven occupants with 50 seating configurations for different needs and preferences. A maximum space of 85.1 cubic feet is attained by lowering the third-row and collapsing the second-row fold and tumble seats with the touch of a button.

Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are standard on all models. Wireless charging is available on R/T, Citadel, SRT 392 and SRT Hellcat.

Base SXT and mid-range GT models come with an 8.4-inch display while a 10.1-inch screen is standard on the Citadel and R/T.

Also available on Citadel and SRT models is a second-row center console supplemented with USB ports, climate control and a 115-volt outlet.

Safety

All Dodge Durango vehicles are fitted with 60 available safety and security technologies for drivers to stay in control on the road. Seven standard airbags include three-row side curtain airbags, front-seat-mounted airbags and front-row active head restraints provide additional protection for occupants.
