The 2024 Jeep reinforces its legendary history with all-terrain capability, open-air freedom and advanced technology safety features.

Iconic amenities include a redesigned seven-slot grille, trail-ready stealth antenna and several alfresco cabin options, including an exclusive Sky One-Touch powertop.

Jeep Wrangler is available in two body styles: two-door and four-door unlimited. Trim levels include Sport, Sport S, Willys, Sahara, High Altitude, Rubicon, Rubicon X and Rubicon 392.

Rubicon X and Sport S 4xe are additions to the 2024 Wrangler lineup. Rubicon X comes with standard 35-inch tires, two powertrain options, steel bumpers and an integrated off-road camera.

Sport S 4xe offers the lowest price point in the PHEV family with 375 hp and 470 Ib-ft of torque energy.

Other features are remote keyless entry, 20-inch aluminum wheels, Gorilla glass windshield and an all-electric range of 21 miles.

"With the plug-in 4xe leading the lineup, the new Wrangler takes the best and makes it better,” said Jim Morrison, Jeep Vice President. “It has even more legendary 4x4 capabilities, thanks to a standard 12.3-inch touchscreen, water fording power seats, more safety features and our first full-float Dana rear axle that makes it possible for Wrangler owners to upsize tires easily."

Under the Hood

Jeep Wrangler has a 3.6-liter V6 base motor that delivers 285 hp and 260 Ib-ft of torque. It has a six-speed manual transmission and optional eight-speed automatic with a revving speed of 0-60 mph in 6 seconds.

A second alternative 2.0-liter turbocharged engine churns out 270 hp and 295 torque power.

Rubicon 392 is outfitted with a 6.4-liter V8 which delivers 470 hp and 470 Ib-ft of torque. It returns a 0-60 mph time in 5 seconds.  The engine is synced to an eight-speed automatic transmission.

The 4xe models use a 2.0-liter turbo engine eTorque belt-start generator and traction motor to produce 375 hp and 470 Ib-ft of torque. It integrates twin electric motors and a 17.3 kWh battery pack allowing the plug-in hybrid drive 21 miles only on electricity.

Comfort and Convenience

Entry-level interior features include first-time 12-way power-adjustable front seats, an all-new 12.3-inch instrument panel and revamped Ucconect5 interface with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility.

The Uconnect 5 system sits on the center stack and delivers five times faster operating speeds than the previous generation. Highlights are Alexa Home to Car functionality, a push-button map OTA system, simultaneous connectivity for two Bluetooth-enabled phones, Pandora-powered radio stations and five user profiles for customizable music, apps and climate comfort preferences.

A Trail Offroad comprehensive guide system also debuts on the Wrangler Jeep. The guide provides 62 off-road adventure locations for road trippers  including the Rubicon Trail in California's Sierra Mountains, Hell's Revenge in Utah and Jericho Mountain in New Hampshire.

Adventurers looking for more places to explore can upgrade to a premium catalog that unlocks 3,000 more destinations.

The Wrangler has seven ports, including a 115-volt AC outlet for camping three-pronged electronics like a fridge, electric grill or air purifier for little children.  Onboard 4G LTE Wi-Fi hotspot grants Internet access for up to eight wireless devices.

Wrangler Rubicon variants bring more 4x4 capacity with an obtainable factory-installed 8,000-lb Warn winch with a high 100:1 crawl ratio for steep inclines and other challenging landscapes.

Rubicon X and Rubicon 392 trims provide upgraded acoustic packages with thickened glass, compact carpeting and sound-insulating foam cavities for a serene cabin during off-road expeditions.

Available on selected 4xe models is a Jeep Power Box with several 120-volt outlets and 30 amps of total output.  A portable power station allows passengers to use the battery pack for charging smartphones, cameras and laptops when traveling to remote areas without electricity.

Safety

Jeep Wrangler’s high-strength steel frame, reinforced safety cage and side-impact door beams are built to withstand the stresses and impact in off-road driving and offer rollover accident protection.

Four skid plates protect the Wrangler's undercarriage including the fuel tank, transfer case and automatic transmission oil pan from damage

Willys and Rubicon models carry additional rugged steel rock rails to curtail exterior vehicle defacement during rock crawling and mud or water crossings.

First and second-row airbags are complemented with side airbags that provide extra protection from head injuries and reduce the risk of ejection during side-impact collisions.

For the 2024 model year, Wrangler included second-row outboard seat belts with pre-tensioners and load limiters.

Standard on all 2024 Jeep Wrangler models are Stability Control, Anti-Lock Brakes, Traction Control, Automatic Emergency Braking, Forward Collision Warning, Blind Spot Monitoring, Rear Cross Traffic Alert and a Parkview Rear Backup Camera.

Over 85 safety and security features are accessible across all models.

Available features include:
